The Wood, Fabric, & Tailwheels Fly-In held at Lee Bottom Flying Field is quickly growing.  Over the past 12 years, it has grown from 28 planes in attendance to over 425.  What started out as a few hours on a Saturday afternoon with a lunch that we prepared ourselves has evolved into an entire weekend event with 6 different caterers providing meals. 

 

With this growth, we have had to add many facilities and features including shower trailers, lots of port a pots, trams to transport people around the airport grounds, additional auto and aircraft parking areas,  shuttle buses to transport pilots to motels, volunteers,  Lee Bottom apparel, many tents,  rented tables and chairs, golf carts, crowd control mechanisms, PA systems, bands, movies shown on hangar walls, and . . . 

 

In 2007, attendance was at an all time record and we expect it to continue to grow.  We are inviting your company to use this audience as a marketing tool while helping to support a grassroots, old-fashioned, general aviation fly-in.

 

In addition to the listings at the event, all sponsor will be:

     listed on our website fly-in pages,

     mentioned in our e-newsletter called NORDO News at least once

          (currently over 7000 email subscribers get NORDO News),

     listed in the annual calendar letter that is sent to 2000  enthusiasts,  &

      given the option to include something in the pilot "goodie bag"

          handed out to every registered aircraft's pilot at the fly-in. 

 

Each $500 sponsor level to receive

     2 admission passes and

     2 tickets to the Friday night dinner. 

 

Each $250 sponsor level to receive

   2 admission passes.
